FAQ
Want peace of mind while you travel?
Here are some answers to your questions
Boarding Basics
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes — reservations are highly recommended, especially during holidays and weekends. Same-day bookings may be possible if space allows, but advance notice ensures your pup has a spot.

What vaccinations are required?
For the safety of all pets, we require proof of up-to-date vaccinations. Typically, these include:
-
Rabies
-
Distemper/Parvo (DHPP)
-
Bordetella (kennel cough)
Please bring your vet records when booking or at check-in.
Can I bring my dog’s own food, bed, or toys?
Absolutely! We encourage you to bring your dog’s regular food to avoid tummy upsets. Familiar items like blankets or toys can also help your pup feel more at home.
How much does boarding cost, and what’s included?
Boarding rates include your dog’s kennel space, daily feeding, fresh water, regular exercise, and plenty of love from our staff. Please contact us for current pricing.
How do I make a reservation?
You can book easily online through our Gingr portal or call us directly to reserve your spot: 319-330-6194
Pet Care & Safety
What does a typical day look like for boarded dogs?
Each dog gets a balance of playtime, exercise, meals, and rest. We provide outdoor breaks, fresh water throughout the day, and a cozy space for downtime.

How do you handle dogs with special needs (medications, anxiety, older pets)?
We’re experienced with pets who need extra care. Please let us know about medications, mobility issues, or behavior notes when booking, and we’ll create a care plan that works for your dog.
Will my dog have their own kennel, or do they share space?
Every pet has their own clean, comfortable kennel space. If you’d like your dogs from the same household to stay together, we can usually accommodate that.
Do you allow multiple dogs from the same family to stay together?
Yes! Many siblings find comfort in staying side by side. Just let us know at booking, and we’ll do our best to keep your pack together.

What happens if my dog gets sick or injured while boarding?
Your pet’s safety is our top priority. If a health concern arises, we will contact you immediately and, if necessary, take your pet to the nearest veterinarian. We’ll follow your instructions and keep you updated every step of the way.

Are your staff trained in pet first aid or emergency care?
Yes — our team is trained to recognize health or behavior issues quickly and respond appropriately. You can feel confident your pet is in safe, caring hands.

Do you offer grooming or baths during boarding stays?
We are currently focusing on boarding, but grooming services may be offered on a limited basis in the future. Please ask us about add-on services when booking.

Can I tour the facility before booking?
Of course! We’d love to show you around. Our Tours & Treats event in October is the perfect chance to visit, meet our team, and see where your pup will stay.
